Making Your Piano Sound Right Again

Who I Am

My name is Trey Stephens, and having been a pianist the majority of my life. I hold the instrument in high regard. I love working on them; bringing such a powerful instrument back to life has become a passion of mine. Seeing the look on people’s faces after hearing the sound and feeling the keys of that old piano they’d almost lost hope in resurrected, it’s just something I can’t get enough of.

After seeing the prices, locations, and density of tuners in central Florida, I realized it was a position that was dreadfully underserved. The lifespan of your instrument shouldn’t be limited to your location, or budget for that matter. Restoring and managing the sound of your piano is something that, I believe, requires a personal relationship with the instrument as well as the customer. I want to look out for you just as much as your piano.

So, just like working on the instrument is a blessing to me, I hope I can be a blessing to you!

Services

  • Consultation (Free)

I think we all can agree that you should know exactly what problems your piano has before hiring someone to fix it. I’ll drive to you and walk you through exactly what your piano needs, top to bottom, all for free. (Travel fees may apply if outside of typical service range)

  • Basic Tuning (Starting at $75)

Sometimes all a piano needs is a basic tuning. For that, I have you covered. On a normal job I can have your piano sounding right in 2-3 hours.

Pianos should be tuned at least twice a year. I will make sure to take notes on your specific piano, its environmental conditions, and musician playing style to insure it is tuned exactly how you want it.

  • Cleaning/Minor Repairs (Starting at $150)

A little TLC never hurt anything, but maybe that piano of yours needs more than just a tuning. You’d be shocked at the different problems that can show up inside your piano over the years.

From cracked keys to snapped hammers, simply playing the piano can cause problems depending on how old it is. Speaking of age, from simple dust and grime to the stray toy car, anything can make its way into a piano.
